Producer, performer, presenter, and longtime President of the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization, Ted Chapin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Chapin )talks about the three nearly equal-in-length phases of the artistic life of composer Richard Rodgers: ‘Rodgers & Hart’, ‘Rodgers & Hammerstein’, and ‘Rodgers & Others’. Music Director and four-time Richard Rodgers Award recipient Andrew Gerle ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_) and three rising stars from the new musical theater program at Manhattan School of Music - Kaileigh Fiorillo, Emma Dalessio and Niko Charney - illustrate Ted’s presentation by performing some of Rodgers’ most beloved songs such as the three versions of the song that became “Blue Moon” (actually, his most popular song), and “Younger Than Springtime”.
