Speaker: JEFF ROTH is The New York Times Archivist. What used to be called "the Morgue," one of  the paper's legendary departments, had a 20-person staff. The morgue was the repository of every Times story written since the 1870s, clipped by  bylines and/or subject. Today, Jeff Roth is the sole member, with the daunting job of updating for today's media a newspaper that was created  in the mid-19th Century. He has thousands of file cabinets, and more  than 5 million photos.

There are also tens of millions of clippings. His secret? “As long as you know the alphabet,” Mr. Roth said. “And can count.”

He has a cabinet-load of stories, even one involving Marilyn Monroe!

Entertainer: LINDA KAHN made her duo cabaret debut in 2017 with Maria Corsaro in, “What The Hell Is Cabaret?!”… and will be opening her solo debut show, “SAY YES!” directed by Jeff Harnar on Saturday, April 18th and Wednesday, April 29th at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. She earned her BFA in Drama from the University of Southern California and while in LA, appeared in television and theatre productions.  She has studied with David Craig, Marilyn Maye, Faith Prince and Stacy Sullivan, among others. David Friedman recently said: “Linda brings warmth, connection, and entertaining stories all wrapped up in a main course of rapturous singing.”
