EVENING EVENT


Maria Cooper Janis is the daughter of Gary Cooper. A talented painter, a noted philanthropist, and a filmmaker, Ms. Janis has done much to protect the legacy of her father. She has contributed to several documentaries about his life and has published two books. She wrote Gary Cooper Off Camera: A Daughter Remembers, a revealing look at her father through photographs and personal memories, and coauthored Gary Cooper: Enduring Style, a tribute to her father’s sense of style.


Foster Hirsch is a veteran film historian, author, and professor at Brooklyn College. He is a highly regarded interviewer known for his deep-dives into film noir, theater history, and 1950s Hollywood culture.


Robert Cuccioli is a Tony-nominated Broadway star best known for originating the dual roles of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in the acclaimed musical Jekyll & Hyde, earning Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and FANY Awards for his performance. He made his Broadway debut as Javert in Les Misérables and later starred as Dr. Norman Osborn/The Green Goblin in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. His extensive stage credits include 1776, The Rothschilds, Rothschild and Sons, Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, Amadeus, and A Touch of the Poet. He will appear in the 2026 Mabel Mercer Foundation Cabaret Convention and the upcoming Off-Broadway production of Every Wednesday Night in Spring 2027.
