Speaker: MARIE BRENNER, journalist and writer for Vanity Fair, New York Magazine, and The New Yorker, will discuss her current book, and acclaimed major motion picture A Private War, which brilliantly chronicles the last days and hours of veteran war correspondent Marie Colvin, killed while reporting on the siege of Homs in Syria in 2012. Colvin lived a remarkable life, reporting from the front lines from conflicts in Libya, Kosovo, Chechnya, Egypt and Syria, and known for her fearlessness and signature eye patch. A Private War is now a major motion picture.
