"Mary McNulty adds a brassy coloratura to excellent instincts as a comedienne ...remarkably poignant!" VCONSTAGE.COM "The immensely talented Kenneth Gartman...has the vocal power of a Broadway star with the nuance of a cabaret singer who knows how to connect with an audience in a smaller venue." BroadwayWorld.com (2016)
Speaker: Robert Caro is the Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner for iconic biographies of Robert Moses and Lyndon Johnson. He will do a Q&A with DTCer David Alpern about both men's mastery of political power and about his new book, "Working," which illuminates his persistent, passionate approach to research and writing.
For those who missed David Alpern's previous presentation of celebrity clips from 30+ years on the radio (including Katharine Hepburn, Kay Graham, Robert McNamara, Walter Cronkite, Nora Ephron, and John le Carre), a video of the same program is now on the YouTube channel of Southampton's Rogers Memorial Library: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4TK-szR_oM&list=PLVWkJm3_8Txmtvt2vsde_8P7Gbgs4mGIL&index=36&t=0s
