Speaker: Elaine Sciolino, a New York Times correspondent in Paris, decorated a chevalier of France’s Legion of Honor, will present a show-and-tell about her latest book, “The Seine: The River That Made Paris,” and discuss highlights of a career that has included flying to Tehran with the Grand Ayatollah Khomeini after the revolution she previously reported (for Newsweek) that he was fomenting from a small town in France.
