Entertainer: Marco Romano was born in Naples and starting singing in various rock bands at age 17. At age 26 he went to the musical academy BSMT in Bologna on scholarship. His first contract was with the "Compagnia della Rancia" in Jesus Christ Superstar, playing the role of Hannas. Other credits include: Tony in West Side Story, Beadle Benford in Sweeney Todd, Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Jean Valjean in Les Miserables and Tateh in Ragtime. In March, he will appear with Christine Andreas at Feinstein’s 54 Below. This will be Marco’s NYC debut!
Speaker: Linda Selman - playwright, actor, director and producer, has written the two Emmy Award-winning Bubbe Meissen/Bubbe Stories, and the award-winning Tallulah Hallelujah! and From My Lady’s Diary: Marie Antoinette. She adapted Edith Wharton’s Bunner Sisters for the stage, and starred in productions of Richard lll and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
